A wave of beeper device explosions occurred this Tuesday in Lebanon, in what appears to be a rather sophisticated Zionist intelligence action.
U.S. media claim that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the operation in a meeting with his ministers and security services chiefs, something quite possible given the Zionist leadership's known intention to expand the war to southern Lebanon.
On Tuesday, Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant spent several hours at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) command center in Tel Aviv, an Israeli official told the media.
The detonations occurred in different parts of the country, including the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon, and left at least 11 dead and more than 4,000 wounded, 400 of them in serious condition, according to a balance sheet of the country's Ministry of Health.
Hezbollah's top leaders and their advisors were reportedly wounded in the detonation, and Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was slightly injured.
Members of the Lebanese militia use the aforementioned devices instead of cell phones to avoid being tracked, following warnings by their leader, Hasan Nasrala, not to use cell phones, due to the lack of security.
It is useful to point out that it is impossible to implant a malware (virus) in the beepers to generate an explosion, they are old devices disconnected from the internet that operate on radio frequency networks, which makes it very difficult to intercept communications.
Remotely detonating the batteries of the beepers reveals prior preparation, including direct intervention of the equipment. It is likely that the explosives were placed somewhere in the "supply chain" before reaching the hands of the victims.
In this regard, the Lebanese militia has stated that it holds Israel "fully responsible" for the detonations, and vowed to retaliate.
On the other hand, the Lebanese Council of Ministers condemned the Israeli aggression as a "grave violation of Lebanese sovereignty and a crime according to all international norms".
Meanwhile, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric has described the events in Lebanon as "extremely worrying."
It is clear that Israel intends to generate chaos in the area as a preliminary to its announced aggression against Lebanon, which would mean an escalation of war in the region, with incalculable consequences.
