The General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Comrade To Lam, will arrive today in Cuba for a state visit that will last until Friday, September 27.
The distinguished visitor will hold official talks with the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. During the days, he will also exchange with other Cuban authorities and carry out activities of interest.
Before his trip to Cuba, in the framework of the opening of the High-Level Segment of the United Nations General Debate, To Lam held a meeting with the member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, who wished the Asian leader a fruitful State visit to the largest of the Antilles, in days that will contribute to continue strengthening the solid ties of brotherhood between the Parties, governments and peoples of both countries.
