The destroyed Gaza City and the killing of 45,000 Palestinians, including more than 20,000 children and women, is a lethal summary of the massacre committed against this Arab population by the Israeli army, fully supported by the United States.

In the midst of so much cruelty, rejected by most of the countries of the world, the cynicism of the aggressors seems to have no limits, and now, without any embarrassment, they raise glasses for the genocide consummated. This was recently demonstrated by the still President of the United States, Joe Biden, when he confessed: "I am a Zionist", while celebrating Hanukkah, a Jewish holiday, at the White House.

After referring to "the massacres against Israel and the hostages in the hands of the Hamas movement", without mentioning in the least the massacre for which he is co-responsible, the ruler decided to bid farewell to his term of office by boasting of his "contributions" to wars and international destabilization.

In the military actions in Gaza alone during the last year, the US administration has spent a record 17.9 billion dollars to militarily sustain the offensive, according to a Sputnik dispatch.

In this context of war that Israel has extended to Lebanon, Syria and Iran, the president of Tehran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, Seyyed Kamal Kharazi, has warned, in his meeting with Mohammad al-Hassan, special representative of the UN Secretary General, that "the great plan to reduce the power of the countries of the region in the face of the aggressions of the Zionist regime, including the destruction of Syria, as a country that supports the Resistance, has always been on the agenda of the United States and the Zionist regime."

He referred to the fact that Washington and Israel, taking advantage of the power vacuum in Syria, are attacking its sovereignty and territorial integrity, through intensive Israeli bombardments against military and civilian infrastructures. And he warned that, due to the insecurity in Syria, the actions could spread to Iraq.

Regarding Lebanon, it was learned yesterday that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) destroyed a tunnel in the south of that country, which served as Hezbollah's command center.

In other words, the Israeli military forces continue the war, regardless of "cease-fires" which are more media than real. Palestinians continue to die in Gaza. Bombardments continue against Lebanon, including the capital, Beirut. In Syria, Netanyahu's forces have set out to eliminate all military installations, in addition to seizing the Golan Heights and extending their presence inside that Arab nation.

Where are the Syrian military forces and what are they doing? It is not known, or at least nothing is written about it. The same goes for the course of the various governmental structures and other components of that society.

Meanwhile, Israel attacks with impunity, confident that the United States has its back, that its own President has declared himself a devotee of Zionism, which is like being one of its own, a partner in the massacre and genocide.
