Before leaving for Tanzania, Lazo Hernández visited the headquarters of Zimbabwe’s National Assembly, where he was received by his counterpart, Jacob Mudenda, with whom he held official talks. He highlighted the historic ties of friendship and cooperation, and the willingness to continue working for their strengthening and expansion.
"Our visit is part of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations," said Lazo.
