These criminal acts, contrary to international law and the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, constitute a serious global threat, the consequences of which for humanity could be unforeseeable.
In these crucial moments, from the Communist Party of Cuba we reiterate our full solidarity with the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which, as a sovereign State, has the right to self-determination and development.
The Communist Party of Cuba, a historic defender of peace, calls upon the parties, social movements and political forces of the left and progressives to mobilize in denouncing these illegal actions committed by the fascist U.S. government, which undermine efforts for a negotiated solution to the Middle East conflict, and confirm its full support for the genocidal pretensions of Israel in the region.
The facts are eloquent and have shown how far the U.S. empire can go to impose its expansionist and dominationist policies, endangering the future of humanity. It is urgent to unite to save our peoples from a nuclear conflagration.
