"We once again urge the United States to immediately end the blockade, sanctions, and any form of coercive measures against Cuba, as this would benefit regional peace and stability," said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning in response to a question from Prensa Latina.
Similarly, support for the Cuban Revolution and its defense of sovereignty was backed by the National Association of Friendship Italy-Cuba (ANAIC).
In a statement, the organization expressed its solidarity "with the Cuban Revolution in the face of new and serious threats" from the administration of Donald Trump and his Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
The text stated that they "represent the arrogance and violence of Washington's imperialist policies, seeking to put an end to a revolutionary experience that has resisted with dignity and courage for more than 60 years.
"Now they seek to stifle the spirit of independence and social justice," since more than six decades of genocide against the Cuban people have not been enough for them, the document emphasized.
"Cuba's example has illuminated the world, demonstrating that solidarity, sovereignty, and justice can be concrete realities," emphasized the ANAIC.
Meanwhile, the Martí Association of Cubans Residing in Panama (AMCRP) also rejected Trump's intimidating statements against the Greater Antilles.
In a statement, it said that in the face of threats to tighten the blockade and cut off all oil and money to the Caribbean nation, the response will be the same as always: "unwavering firmness, dignity, and resistance!"
It condemned the Republican tycoon's threat when he said that an agreement must be reached "before it is too late," and stressed that the empire does not understand, and has never understood, that there can be no surrender in the face of its blackmail.
"Our response is forged not only with the dignity of our history, but with the warm blood and recent courage of 32 brothers who fell on Venezuelan soil. Their sacrifice, far from breaking us, today fuels our fury and multiplies our determination to resist," the text emphasized.
