The document also condemned the "ominous" economic, commercial, and financial blockade that the United States government has maintained against the island for more than six decades, as well as "the arbitrary prohibition on Cuba receiving oil (...) a criminal measure and a crime against humanity that exceeds any parameter of International Law."
In this regard, the political organization described the suffocating measures against the Cuban people as a siege that has escalated to unprecedented levels.
It also asserted that this criminal blockade directly attacks the daily lives of Cuban families by limiting their access to medical supplies, food, and technologies essential for their development. And it "constitutes a desperate attempt to break the will of a people through force and hunger."

In addition, it called for the removal of the island from the list of state sponsors of terrorism and the immediate lifting of all sanctions that cause suffering to the population.
