Irish journalist Bernie Dwyer, long-time friend of Cuba, remembered
A group of Bernie Dwyer’s friends and family members cast her ashes into the sea off the rocky Havana waterfront, as she had requested. The longtime journalist at Radio Habana Cuba and documentary filmmaker had worked tirelessly for the release of the Cuban Five until the final days of her life. She died July 10, 2013 in Dublin
