The implementation of Resolution no.17 linking wages to results, the participation of the youth in the non-state sector and current state of the country’s Foreign Investment Law, feature among topics that will mark debates by the permanent work commissions of the National Assembly of People’s Power prior to the Sixth Period of Ordinary Sessions of the Eighth legislature, scheduled for December 29.
Analyzed during the national meeting will be the results of the 2015 National Economic Plan, forecasts for 2016 and approval of the State Budget Law.
Prior to the encounter, the 10 permanent work commissions of the county’s highest legislative body, meeting from December 26-28, will discuss several key topics such as perfecting government structures through the updating of frameworks and work guidelines, combating crime, corruption and illegalities, and the deterioration of the values of Cuban society, as well as efforts made to address the opinions and concerns of the population, and progress being made in the main economic and social programs in every territory.
Other important topics include an analysis and fiscal review of base and budgeted production units, as well as reforms to agriculture and livestock production bases, teacher training and professional development programs.
