Army Raúl Castro Ruz, Presidente of the Councils of State and Ministers, yesterday afternoon September 16, received his Excellency Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, who is making an official visit to our country.

The two heads of state held a cordial conversation to discuss the positive development of bilateral relations and agreed on the mutual desire to strengthen ties. They likewise addressed issues on the international agenda.

Accompanying the distinguished guest was Tsend Munkh-Orgil, Parliament member and minister of Foreign Relations; Tsedendamba Batbayar, Mongolia's ambassador in Havana; and other high ranking officials participating in the visiting delegation.

Attending on the Cuban side were Marcelino Medina González and Rogelio Sierra Díaz, interim foreign minister and deputy minister respectively; as well as Raúl Delgado Concepción, the country's ambassador in Mongolia.
