Preliminary data indicates that 7,399,891 Cuban men and women came out to vote March 11, a figure that represents 82.90% of the electorate, which includes 8,926,575 individuals, according to updated registries.

This information was announced during a press conference by Alina Balseiro Gutiérrez, president of the National Electoral Commission (CEN), who also reported that the 605 deputies to the National Assembly of People's Power and the 1,265 delegates to Provincial Assemblies were elected with more than half of the valid votes cast.
