As if more evidence were needed about the participation of the United States in attempted attacks on the Cuban Revolution around November 15, Communist Party of Cuba Political Bureau member and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodriguez Parilla, noted on his Twitter account that a virtual VPN platform mounted a free service campaign for users on our island.
Only Cuba benefited from this exceptional offer while the rest of the world was obliged to pay to use the site.
"No one will be surprised that this service is supported by 19 servers located in the U.S.," Rodriguez wrote, adding, "When a product like this is free, only for residents in Cuba, it means that our sovereignty is up for sale. This is a lucrative business for the subversive anti-Cuban industry that is desperately attempting a destabilization plan doomed to failure."
The online platform Secure VPN (Virtual Private Network) is an ultra-fast service that disseminates promotional messages for users in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Among the many condemnations of the cyber war being waged against Cuba - intensified since the events of July 11 this year –was the Cuban Foreign Minister’s November14 tweet noting that most of the toxic contents that accompany tags used to promote destabilization in Cuba originate in the U.S., while in other countries, they are not widely disseminated.
This, he added, makes clear that "there is no margin of doubt about imperialism’s malicious intentions and interference."
Cuba is facing anon-conventional, multidimensional war meant to overthrow the Revolution, along with the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed six decades ago, opportunistically tightened during the COVID-19 pandemic to intensify is brutal impact.
