Cuba denounced through the National Television News the attempts of terrorist groups operating in the United States to organize violent actions that will bring pain, suffering and death in Cuba this end of year
Cuba denounced revealing facts that the plans aimed at subverting the internal order through terrorist actions go beyond the virtual environment and are focused on promoting violence in order to cause pain, suffering and death at the end of this year.
According to information published on Saturday by Noticiero Nacional de Televisión, thanks to timely denunciations and the rapid intervention of forces of the Ministry of the Interior, a Cuban resident in the U.S., who intended to carry out part of macabre plans conceived in South Florida, was captured.
The exhaustive investigation underway has revealed that the terrorist arrived at the northern coast of Matanzas aboard a jet ski equipped with means that ensure its navigability. The individual, equipped, among other things, with pistols, magazines and ammunition, went to Cienfuegos, his province of origin, and contacted several people in order to recruit them.
Through videos published by the terrorists themselves, it was explained that it has been proven that in the United States there are Cubans who have links with terrorists who publicly promote violent actions against Cuba. These, he said, are people who have received military training with weapons, have physical preparation for those purposes, and have other resources to carry out their plans.
Among these instigators of hatred and death, he said, are terrorists included in the National List of persons and entities that have been subjected to criminal investigations and are wanted by Cuban authorities for their involvement in the promotion, planning, organization, financing, support or commission of acts carried out in the national territory or in other countries.
In this document, published on December 7 in the Official Gazette of the Republic, the names of William Cabrera González and Michel Naranjo Riverón appear, registered in preparatory phase files, for stimulating, financing and executing violent acts.
It also includes Manuel Milanés Pizonero. According to the records, an investigative file was opened against him in 2021, for inciting actions that affect social order in Cuba through violent acts against public officials and the normal functioning of socioeconomic entities, as well as for promoting armed aggression.
It was asserted that the events associated with the illegal arrival of a counterrevolutionary on the northern coast of Matanzas, his movements throughout the country, the contacts established and the recruitments carried out, are related to the criminal organizations exposed in the aforementioned published National List.
It was said that this document, with legal force, should include Miguel Gómez Bártulo, alias "Miki Terrori", who resides in the United States and has links with Manuel Milanés and Guillermo "El Coco" Fariñas, counterrevolutionary extremists also based there. This was revealed by the confessions of one of the recruits, currently under investigation, who spoke of contacts established and indications received.
"Miki", he said, has spoken to him of concrete violent actions and has put him in contact with the so-called Council for War, which is the movement presided over by Manuel Milanés, identified as crew chief.
"I am asking him for weapons and to get in touch with an agent to develop something big, but he tells me that that is later, and that what there is for me, now, is clandestinity. And he offers me, for example, 50 dollars for putting up posters, a hundred for modifying the health of a public official, that is, physically assaulting him, a hundred for burning sugar cane fields, and 200 for burning tobacco tap houses.
"He told me to keep preparing for zero hour. They insist a lot on zero hour, the supposed hour when they are going to invade Cuba. They have always told me that they are preparing in terms of that, that there are many people involved. Miki told me that they recently had an FBI search, and they were searched for vests and some weapons, and that this set them back a bit."
Another recruited person, also under criminal investigation, mentions "Kike" Naranjo, that is, Michel Naranjo Riverón, and Amijaíl Sánchez. The former, he said, asked him to set fire to vehicles and sugar cane fields in exchange for money.
Who are these shady characters? Michel Naranjo Riverón resided in San Miguel del Padrón, and emigrated to the United States in 2020. He had been warned for disturbing the public order. He was also prosecuted for injury, assault, robbery with violence to persons and public disorder.
Amijaíl Sánchez González also lives in Florida. Among other things, from social networks he offers financing for terrorist actions in national territory. When he was in Cuba, he was prosecuted for illegal possession and carrying of firearms, theft and illegal slaughter of livestock, injuries, illegal economic activity and reckless homicide. He has a preparatory phase file, initiated for promoting and financing acts of sabotage in the Municipal Court of Centro Habana and the Provincial Directorate of the cdr in Havana.
In the denunciation made public in the National Television News, it was reiterated that the National List published in the Official Gazette has legal weight and binding force, for which reason the Cuban authorities are still looking for the terrorists included in it.
At the same time, it was asserted that the antidote against those who, from abroad, continue to bet on terror and against the few who play the game in the country, is the popular denunciation, the early discovery, the thorough investigation and the just sentence for those responsible.
For these reasons, there will be no impunity for those who intend to commit terrorist acts against the Cuban people.
