NEW YORK.-The President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, held a friendly meeting on Monday evening.
Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the excellent state of relations between their two nations, and reiterated their confidence that these will continue to expand in multiple economic and social areas.
Evo Morales ratified Bolivia’s historic support for Cuba in its fight against the U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade.
During the fraternal exchange, the two Heads of State referred to the need to strengthen Latin American and Caribbean integration, in a context characterized by imperialist attempts to fragment the unity of Our America.
This meeting between brothers took place within the framework of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, in which both presidents are undertaking an intense work agenda.
