The media show related to the alleged "Chinese spy balloons" only “to distract the world's attention from the sabotage carried out against the Russian gas pipeline Nord Stream,” of which clear evidence has come to light that it was carried out by a U.S. mission.
This statement, made by former CIA employee Edward Snowden; and the elements provided by U.S. journalist Seymour Hersh, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for his work on the Vietnam War, brings total clarity to the quite widespread conviction that it was an act of State terrorism.
Logically, the U.S. government has denied its involvement, while Europe, the most affected by its submission to Washington and its sanctions against Russia, looks with uncertainty at what has come to light todayand prefers to keep quiet and continue accompanying the U.S. government in its economic and media war against Moscow.
Snowden, a former CIA analyst, wrote regarding Washington's obsession with accusing China for the balloons that appeared in the US sky and were shot down from warplanes: "it's not aliens /i wish it were aliens /but it's not aliens it's just the ol' engineered panic, an attractive nuisance ensuring natsec reporters get assigned to investigate balloon bullshit rather than budgets or bombings (à la nordstream),” he wrote on Twitter.
For his part, journalist Seymour Hersh suggested earlier this week that the Nord Stream pipelines were blown up. "Many of us followed the act of sabotage closely. Many European capitals said: it was Russia that blew up its own pipeline, which, logically, did not make sense," he emphasized.
The journalist himself then argued: "I only had a few hints, such as President Joe Biden's announcement in January. To me, one thing was clear from 2018, that the United States was determined to make sure that this pipeline system would never become operational."
Hersh had also noted in an article that "No major American newspaper dug into the earlier threats to the pipelines made by Biden and Undersecretary of State Nuland."
In his article, he underlined that if U.S. officials are really responsible for ordering the attack and the media purposely covered it up, is it safe to assume that they are complicit in this crime?
The Sputnik website picks up the revelation of the award-winning American journalist, in which he says that the United States, in preparing the plan to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines, decided that "it is better for Germany to freeze in the winter" (because of the lack of Russian gas) than to "stop supporting Ukraine."
He then notes that Biden originally planned to blow up the pipelines last June, but, at the last minute, changed his mind and issued new orders, giving the ability to detonate the bombs remotely at any time.
Thus, in September last year, eight bombs were to explode off the island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, but six exploded.
Seymour Hersh further revealed, in an article published on his blog, that it was Navy divers who placed the explosives under the Nord Stream pipelines in June 2022.
He concluded that according to a source familiar with the matter, the operation was carried out under the cover of the NATO BALTOPS 22 exercises. Three months later the devices were activated.
The issue of the State terrorism carried out against the Russian gas pipeline and the fabricated affair of the Chinese "spy balloons" cannot be limited to the media version of the country with patrimony in both events -the United States-, but should be a call to put an end to provocations which, in both cases, could lead to greater tensions between nuclear powers, and even make Pope Francis' words come true: "we are already living in a third world war".
