The Forum of supporters of the struggle against modern practices of neocolonialism For the freedom of nations, which took place from February 15 to 17 in Moscow, condemned, in its final declaration, the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US government on Cuba for more than 60 year
The representatives of the political parties attending the Forum agreed to "counteract, on the international platforms, the practices of economic blackmail imposed through the introduction of unilateral coercive restrictive measures, including secondary sanctions, in violation of the Charter of the United Nations and other norms of International Law, in particular, the blockade"
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Serguei Lavrov, and the Secretary General of the African National Congress, Fikile Mbabula, in their speeches at the event condemned this hostile and genocidal policy against the Cuban people.
The Forum, in its first version, was held with the aim of discussing how to strongly confront the remnants of the colonial world and the emerging neocolonialism that the United States is trying to impose.
