A slap in the face of the UN, the continuation of a horrible crime and even the threat to use a nuclear bomb are the most recent examples of Zionist barbarism against the Palestinian people.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reported that the plan is ready for "a major ground operation against Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
"Nothing will stop us, not even the United States", he warned, not caring at all that in this area of the Palestinian territory, bordering Egypt, one and a half million people, mostly women and children, displaced from other areas of Gaza, already totally destroyed, are taking refuge.
In the midst of this extreme expression of Zionism, the US Government has reported that it will send bombs and war fighter planes to Tel Aviv, worth billions of dollars.
No wonder then that Netanyahu feels totally protected militarily by the government that only staged the pantomime of "abstention" when the Security Council Resolution for the cease-fire was voted at the UN.
In this context, the Republican congressman for the state of Michigan, Tim Walberg, suggested that his country should "drop an atomic bomb on Gaza, as was done in the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki", to, according to him, end the war".
In another challenge to the international community, Israel's aviation attacked with missiles a neighborhood in the Syrian capital, where the Iranian Embassy is located. Several nearby buildings were severely damaged, while the headquarters of the Iranian Consulate was destroyed.
As a result of the attack, at least six people were killed, including Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior commander of a unit of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and General Haji Rahimi, Reza Zahedi's deputy.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has stated that, "reserving the right to take countermeasures, it will decide on the type of reaction and punishment to the aggressor."
