Cuba's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Josefina Vidal, received Grenada's Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell, who is paying an official visit to the island until April 14.
The visit takes place within the framework of the 45th anniversary of the relations between both countries, established on April 14, 1979.
According to the Government Information Service of Granada (GIS), Mitchell's agenda includes meetings with President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.
During these meetings, the parties are to discuss the progress of bilateral agreements as well as the signing of nine memorandums of understanding related to agriculture and fishery, resilience to climate change, infrastructure development, culture and creative cooperation, tourism and sports.
